The quiet, dark nights in St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Les Cheneaux, DeTour, and beyond are perfect for stargazing. Just south of the Mackinac Bridge is the Headlands International Dark Sky Park in Mackinaw City. With over 500 acres of pristine woodlands, two miles of undeveloped Lake Michigan shoreline, and the Waterfront Event Center, the Headlands is a must visit destination.
