Centrally located with ample parking, it hosts major events like youth hockey tournaments, wrestling tournaments, concerts, wedding receptions, business meetings and more. We also have a spectacular view of the Saturday night fireworks July through September. Little Bear East also provides a staging area, exhibition space, and parking for major annual events.
Need a place to host an event or wedding reception? This facility can accommodate small and large events or business meetings. The LBE convention room has 4,300 square feet, with occupancy up to 500 people or it can be divided into two rooms for smaller events. The Arena is a multi Purpose/Exhibit Space covering 16,000 square feet for conventions, trade shows, concerts and other special events. LBE features a single NHL-size ice rink with locker rooms, concession, and bleachers that are available from October through March.

From the West/US-2: Follow US-2 down into St. Ignace; it turns into State Street, so just keep going. Follow State Street through downtown St. Ignace. There are signs for Little Bear East Arena along the way. You’ll want to turn LEFT onto Marquette Street. From there, the arena and community center will be on the right hand side of the street.
From the North/East of Town: Follow I-75 Business Loop/State Street into St. Ignace. There are signs for Little Bear East Arena along the way, but you’ll want to turn RIGHT onto Reagon Street. At the STOP SIGN, turn LEFT onto Ojibway Trail and then RIGHT onto Marquette Street. LBE will be on the right hand side of the street.
